Receptionist

The receptionist is a critical role in supporting our Indianapolis location's desire to provide superior customer service. 

Kinetico is looking for an energetic, self-starter to support the company operations by maintaining office systems and processes, and fulfilling the following responsibilities:

• Promote the company’s image to customers, vendors, and callers by greeting them, determining the nature of the call, and forwarding the call to the appropriate party, or taking messages when required.
• Will be involved in counter sales and will assist customers with the purchase of products sold in the store; will refer customers to sales or service as needed.
• Will perform general office duties including sorting mail, maintaining log of key person whereabouts, ordering supplies and performing other record keeping activities.
• Increases productivity of the company by typing and distributing a variety of written communications.
• Will assist with various accounts receivable tasks.
• Will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work and retail environment.
• Will support and serve as back-up to other office staff as needed.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Must be a true professional who shows initiative, with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have a strong work ethic, be self-motivated, action and goal oriented, and have above average organizational skills.
• Must have a proven “customer-centric” focus and approach with the ability to change priorities as needed.
• An Associate’s degree is preferred, with 3-5 years of experience working in a customer service-oriented role.
• Must have strong interpersonal, written, grammar, and verbal communication skills.
• Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including proficient abilities with Word and Excel.
• Must be dependable and have integrity
• Must have knowledge of business, administrative, and clerical procedures and systems.
